Good news.

Eliza told me tonight she wants to dress up like a RAZORBACK CHEERLEADER for Halloween! (Very good news.)

Shoes: check
Socks: check
Bow: check
Uniform: E informed us we could get this for her birthday. The girl has been paying attention!

Yesterday, E stated she wanted to dress up as Taylor Swift. I think she is still in awe of the "real" Razorback cheerleaders she met at the game last Saturday!

Woo Pig Sooiee!

These Razorback cheerleaders were so sweet to let us take Eliza's picture with them! E was thrilled about seeing them and was completely in awe, especially when one of them let her hold their pom poms! Awesome! E always says she wants to be a Razorback cheerleader when she grows up!

fantastic frog blog

E moved to a new class at school at the beginning of summer. We love her teacher Mrs. Kara, who will also be her teacher when Our Little E enters Kindergarten there in the fall! The class mascot is Fantastic Frogs - check out the frog blog here!

family fun trip

We had a fun family trip to OKC to visit GrandMum over the Memorial Day weekend. E loved the Oklahoma Science Museum - and so did we! Our first time navigating a Segway!

long time, no post

As it turns out, keeping a blog up to date is a lot harder than it appears, especially with a full-time job. Lots going on the past couple months! Now, for a few pictures!

All Smiles!

Valentine Surprise

Eliza and Cousin Avery were cordially invited to spend Saturday night with Nana and PopPop for what E calls a "bumpkin" party. And, Nana and PopPop had lots of sweet surprises in store!

First, we all met at Build-A-Bear where the girls had fun picking out their new animal friends to build and picking out clothes. The girls wanted their animals to match; however, they did pick different animals - Avery immediately picked a gray kitten and E finally selected a bunny.

After the animals were groomed and dressed and in their condo box, Nana and PopPop took the girls to Chuck E Cheese's before ending their day of fun with a sweet treat at The Purple Cow!

The girls had a blast! When I asked Eliza was her favorite part of the weekend was, she said: playing with Avery, going to church with Avery, going to Build-A-Bear and riding the escalator. It's the simple things.

We are enormously blessed to have seven amazingly wondering grandparents and three great-grandparents!

Happy Valentine's Day!

It's beginning to look a lot like...Christmas?

The snow blowing across the road looked really cool on the way to work this morning.

Snow...

Snow, The Sequel

Daddy/Daughter Twinkies

Jonathan special-ordered Dallas Cowboys T-shirt with an NFL gift card he had. (Sweet Daddy to use part of it on his little girl!) E was SO excited about her mini-T that looks just like Daddy's! They wore them on Sunday during the football event of the year; hopefully, they will get to wear the shirts this time next year as we watch their team in Super Bowl [45], which will be played at the mecca of all football stadiums!

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

Wow! We cannot get over all the snow! We played outside for an hour this morning; E had a great time throwing snowballs, making snow angels and running around to make lots of footprints. Our favorite part was when Daddy used a rope to tie an old blue sled to the back of the Santa Fe. First, I drove Daddy and E around the neighborhood. Fortunately, they made it OK despite my taking a corner too tightly and nearly dumping them in a ditch! Then, Daddy drove E and me around; it was so fun, I could not stop laughing! The sled didn't survive the icy roads, but we had a great time!
